National Dialogue
The remainder of the meeting was spent participating the National Dialogue. Two groups shared their answers to a series of questions.

WHAT IS THE NATIONAL DIALOGUE? The National Dialogue is a collaborative effort, realizing that all three phases (unity, engagement, and mobilization) must be done in concert between young people and Church leadership. What distinguishes the National Dialogue from past efforts or individual apostolates is that this process is being done in collaboration with the bishops and many organizations and diocesan leaders dedicated to youth and young adult ministries.

Pope Francis and the bishops of the United States have pointed the way towards a deeper, more authentic accompaniment of young people at this time in the Church’s history-in particular with Encuentro and the Synod- and the National Dialogue is a key response to this incredible moment in the life of the Church.

Next DYC Meeting: Sunday, Dec. 16, 1-4p, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Hammond. Aaliyah E. selected Jalynn Edwards to lead prayer.
